Description

Narsoplimab (also known as OMS-721) is a fully human monoclonal antibody that targets mannan-binding lectin-associated serine protease-2 (MASP-2), a key enzyme in the lectin pathway of the complement system. By binding to and inhibiting MASP-2, narsoplimab blocks the lectin pathway-initiated complement activation while leaving the classical and alternative pathways intact. This selective inhibition aims to reduce complement-mediated endothelial injury and inflammation.
