Description
Eurestobart is an investigational, humanized immunoglobulin G1 kappa (IgG1¦Ê) monoclonal antibody being developed for potential applications in oncology and immunomodulation. It functions as a targeted inhibitor of ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase activity, specifically by binding to a member of the ENTPDase family (also known as CD39 family). By binding to its target ENTPDase, this antibody is designed to modulate the extracellular purinergic signaling pathway. This modulation primarily affects the conversion of pro-inflammatory extracellular ATP (eATP) into immunosuppressive adenosine, thereby aiming to shift the balance in the tumor microenvironment or inflammatory sites from an immunosuppressive state towards a more immunostimulatory one.
