- Endothelin A Receptor Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (15H24L16)
- Antibody type
- Monoclonal
- Antigen
- Synthetic peptide
- Description
- Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Recombinant antibodies are produced using specific genes that code for the desired antibodies. These genes are cloned into an expression vector and expressed in vitro. The advantages of recombinant antibodies include better specificity and lot-to-lot consistency. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.

- HEK-293 cells stably transfected with EDNRA were grown on poly-L-lysine-coated coverslips overnight. After 24 h, cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and 0.2% picric acid in phosphate buffer (pH 6.9) for 30 min at room temperature and washed several times with phosphate buffer. Specimens were permeabilized with ice-cold methanol and then incubated with EDNRA Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (Product # 704014, 1:1,000 dilution). Cells were then incubated with Alexa Flour 488-conjugated secondary antibody for 2 h at room temperature, mounted and examined using an immunofluorescence microscope. Note, strong staining of transfected cells.

- Sections of human heart were dewaxed, microwaved in citric acid and incubated with EDNRA Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (Product # 704014, 1:1,000 dilution). Sections were then sequentially treated with biotinylated anti-rabbit IgG and AB solution. Sections were then developed in DAB and lightly counterstained with hematoxylin. Inset, peptide neutralization control.

- Sections of human placenta were dewaxed, microwaved in citric acid and incubated with EDNRA Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (Product # 704014, 1:1,000 dilution). Sections were then sequentially treated with biotinylated anti-rabbit IgG and AB solution. Sections were then developed in DAB and lightly counterstained with hematoxylin. Strong staining of tumor cells was observed.
