Description

Patecibart is a humanized IgG4-kappa monoclonal antibody that specifically targets the endothelin A receptor (EDNRA), a G protein-coupled receptor. As an IgG4 isotype, it is engineered to minimize effector functions (e.g., antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity) and focus on receptor blockade. By binding to EDNRA with high affinity, patecibart antagonizes the interaction between the receptor and its ligand endothelin-1 (ET-1), thereby inhibiting downstream signaling pathways (e.g., Gq/11-mediated calcium mobilization, MAPK activation).
