- Electron micrograph shows N75/33 immunolabelling in the stratum radiatum of mouse hippocampal CA1 using a pre-embedding immunogold method. Immunogold particles were observed at postsynaptic sites (arrows) along the extrasynaptic plasma membrane of dendritic spines (s) and shafts (Den) of pyramidal cells establishing synaptic contacts with excitatory axon terminals (b). 80.000 X.
