(A) Cell lysates of immature and mature BMDCs from either five or six individual CD44 +/+ and five CD44 -/- littermates were resolved by SDS-PAGE and probed by Western blotting to detect HAS enzymes HAS1-3 and GAPDH (as a loading control). Representative blots are shown, from one of two separate experiments. Lysate from wild-type mouse skin was included as a positive control for HAS3.
