- A suggested positive control is human colon tissue lysate. PA5-20436 can be used with blocking peptide PEP-0553. The PA5-20436 immunogen is located within the last 50 amino acids of TEM-1. Predicted molecular ~ 81kD and 46kD. In Western blot applications, this antibody has been observed to detect a band at: 90 kD (post-modifications: 27 O-linked glycosylations) and 46kD. Predicted species reactivity based on immunogen sequence: Mouse (86%); Rat: (86%).

- Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Human Colon tissue using CD248 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-20436) at 2.5 µg/mL. Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde and blocked with 0.1 serum for 1 h at RT; antigen retrieval was by heat mediation with a citrate buffer (pH6). Samples were incubated with primary antibody overnight at 4˚C. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at 1/250 was used as secondary. Counter stained with Hematoxylin.

- Immunofluorescent analysis of 4% paraformaldehyde-fixed Human Colon Tissue labeling TEM-1 with CD248 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-20436) at 20 µg/mL, followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody at 1:500 dilution (red).
