- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 60% cross-reactivity with human IL-28B/IFN- lambda 3 is observed. In direct ELISAs, approximately 30% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-29 and less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-28 is observed.

- ELISA of IL-28A in recombinant Human IL‚28A/IFN‚λ2 protein. Samples were incubated in IL-28A polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47163). Protein was serially diluted 2-fold. Antibody was biotinylated and incubated with the protein captured on the plate. Detection of the standard curve was achieved by incubating Streptavidin-HRP followed by Substrate Solution and stopping the enzymatic reaction with Stop Solution.

- Neutralization antibody testing demonstrates the specificity of an antibody through a correlation between antibody binding and the activity of the target. Neutralization of IL-28A is shown by the decrease in OD (Encephalomyocarditis Virus (EMCV) -induced cytopathy in the HepG2 measured by crystal voilet staining) with increasing concentrations of IL-28A Antibody (Product # PA5-47163).
