Description

Gosuranemab is an investigational, humanized monoclonal IgG4 antibody developed for the treatment of neurodegenerative tauopathies, most notably Alzheimer's disease (AD) and progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP). It functions as a targeted immunotherapeutic agent designed to promote the clearance of pathological tau protein from the brain. Gosuranemab is engineered to bind specifically to the N-terminal region of extracellular tau, particularly focusing on forms that may be involved in the cell-to-cell propagation of pathology.
