Description

Daxdilimab is an investigational monoclonal antibody targeting the Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-Like Receptor subfamily A member 4 (LILRA4, also known as ILT7). This receptor is specifically and highly expressed on plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs). By modulating the ILT7 signaling pathway, daxdilimab aims to regulate pDC function and, consequently, the broader immune response. This mechanism positions it as a potential therapeutic for autoimmune or inflammatory diseases where pDCs and type I interferon pathways are dysregulated.
