- Figure 3 Western blot of the plasma of patients with schizophrenia and healthy controls. A significant decrease in the levels of GMF-beta ( P = 0.0256), BDNF ( P = 0.0008), and the 115-kDa isoform of RAB3GAP1 ( P = 0.0002) was observed in schizophrenic patients (n = 45) as compared to the controls (n = 43). No significant correlation was detected with the attractin ( P = 0.5345), drebrin ( P = 0.3917), and RAB3GAP1 ( P = 0.6729) proteins. Relative units refer to the mean percentage of control values.
