Description

Sigvotatug vedotin is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting integrin ¦Áv¦Â6, a cell-surface protein overexpressed in epithelial cancers. It consists of a human IgG1 monoclonal antibody linked to the cytotoxic payload monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE). Upon binding to ¦Áv¦Â6, the ADC is internalized, releasing MMAE to disrupt microtubule assembly and induce apoptosis in tumor cells. It is being developed for the treatment of solid tumors with high ¦Áv¦Â6 expression, such as pancreatic, lung, and head and neck cancers.
