Amlitelimab (KY1005) is a fully human monoclonal antibody that targets OX40 ligand (OX40L; also known as CD252). It functions as a blocking antibody that inhibits the interaction between OX40L and its receptor OX40 (CD134). By disrupting this key co-stimulatory pathway, amlitelimab modulates T cell activation and function, aiming to dampen the pathological immune response in inflammatory diseases. It is currently being investigated in clinical trials as a potential treatment for atopic dermatitis.
