- Adiponectin Receptor 1 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (SC69-04)
- Antibody type
- Monoclonal
- Antigen
- Synthetic peptide
- Description
- Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.

- Western blot was performed using Anti-Adiponectin Receptor 1 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (SC69-04) (Product # MA5-32249) and a 43 kDa band corresponding to Adiponectin Receptor 1 was observed across the cell lines and tissues tested except in thymus tissue. Membrane enriched extracts (30 µg lysate) of K-562 (Lane 1), SK-BR-3 (Lane 2), Raji (Lane 3), HeLa (Lane 4), tissue extracts of Mouse Skeletal Muscle (Lane 5), Rat Skeletal Muscle (Lane 6), Mouse Thymus (Lane 7) and Rat Thymus (Lane 8) were electrophoresed using NuPAGE™ 4-12% Bis-Tris Protein Gel (Product # NP0322BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23001) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001). The blot was probed with the primary antibody (1:2000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L), Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A27036, 1:4000 dilution) using the iBright FL 1000 (Product # A32752). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using SuperSignal™ West Dura Extended Duration Substrate (Product # 34076).

- Flow Cytometric analysis of Adiponectin Receptor 1 in HepG2 cells using a Adiponectin Receptor 1 Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-32249) at a dilution of 1:50, as seen in red compared with an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; black). Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti rabbit IgG was used as the secondary antibody.
