Western blot test of acid extracts of HeLa cells treated with sodium butyrate (HeLa+NaBu), treated and untreated with Nocodazole, and recombinant Histone H3.1 protein, using recombinant Histone H3 antibody at 1 ug/ml, showed a band of Histone H3 with unmodified Lys4.

This recombinant Histone H3 antibody specifically recognizes Histone H3 unmodified at Lys4 and does not recognize acetylated, monomethylated, dimethylated, or trimethylated Lys4. The mAb binding specificity allows for modifications of Arg2 or Thr3 in Histone H3.
