A suggested positive control is A-20 cell lysate. PA5-20069 can be used with blocking peptide PEP-0188. The PA5-20069 immunogen is located within amino acids 80-130 of Bcl-2. Predicted molecular ~ 26kD. In Western blot applications, this antibody has been observed to detect a band at: 26 kD. Predicted species reactivity based on immunogen sequence: Bovine: (100%), Rat: (93%), Chicken: (86%).

Experimental details

Immunocytochemistry of Mouse A-20 cells using Bcl-2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-20069) at 2 µg/mL. Cells were fixed with formaldehyde and blocked with 0.1 serum for 1 h at RT; antigen retrieval was by heat mediation with a citrate buffer (pH6). Samples were incubated with primary antibody overnight at 4°C. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at 1:250 was used as secondary. Counter stained with Hematoxylin.
