Description

MA1-91063 detects Apo E from human samples. MA1-91063 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue), immunohistochemistry (paraffin tissue), Western blot, immunoprecipitation applications. Staining of paraffin sections may be significantly imporoved by either 1) formic acid (70%) for 10-30 minutes at room temperature or 2) heat induced epitope retrievl with buffers such as citrate. The predicted molecular weight of MA1-91063 is 38 kDa. The MA1-91063 immunogen is synthetic peptide spanning the polymorphic amino acid position 158 of ApoE. Store at 4ºC short term. For long-term storage, store at -20ºC. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
