Description

Recombinant Human Antibody (10C12) is capable of binding to Factor IX, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Expressed as the combination of a heavy chain (HC) containing VH from anti-Factor IX mAb and CH1-3 region of human IgG1 and a light chain (LC) encoding VL from anti-Factor IX mAb and CL of human kappa light chain. Exists as a disulfide linked dimer of the HC and LC hetero-dimer under non-reducing condition. The 10C12 antibody binds tightly to full-length Factor IX or activated Factor IX with a Kd of 1. 6 nM and is specific for Factor IX but does not bind to the other vitamin K-dependent proteins despite the sequence similarity between the Gla domains of these proteins.
