Experimental details

Western blot analysis from lysates of human liver tissue, mouse liver tissue, and rat liver tissue. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.1 µg/mL of Sheep Anti-human/mouse/Rat FABP1/L-FABP Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-47892) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody. A specific band was detected for FABP1/L-FABP at approximately 14 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

Western blot analysis of FABP1 in 0.2 mg/mL lysates of human liver tissue. Samples were incubated in FABP1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47892) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG at a dilution of 1:50. A specific band was detected for FABP1/L‚FABP at approximately 13 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230 kDa separation system.

Experimental details

Immunohistochemical analysis of FABP1 in perfusion fixed frozen sections of mouse intestine. Samples were incubated in FABP1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47892) using a dilution of 1.7 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Sheep HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to apical portion of epithelial cells.
