Camidanlumab tesirine (often shortened to Camidanlumab, and previously known as ADCT-301 or Cami) is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) in clinical development. It is engineered to deliver a highly potent cytotoxic drug directly to cancer cells that express a specific target antigen. Its most advanced clinical application is for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory Hodgkin lymphoma who have failed multiple prior therapies, including checkpoint inhibitors and stem cell transplants. The drug has demonstrated significant single-agent activity in this challenging patient population, leading to its receipt of Orphan Drug Designation and Breakthrough Therapy Designation from the U.S. FDA to expedite its development.
