- Description
- Polyclonal antibody for Histone Deacetylase 4/HDAC4 detection. Host: Rabbit.Size: 100μg/vial. Tested applications: WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FCM. Reactive species: Human;Mouse;Rat. Histone Deacetylase 4/HDAC4 information: Molecular Weight: 119040 MW; Subcellular Localization: Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Shuttles between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. Upon muscle cells differentiation, it accumulates in the nuclei of myotubes, suggesting a positive role of nuclear HDAC4 in muscle differentiation. The export to cytoplasm depends on the interaction with a 14-3-3 chaperone protein and is due to its phosphorylation at Ser-246, Ser-467 and Ser-632 by CaMK4 and SIK1. The nuclear localization probably depends on sumoylation; Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitous.

- Flow Cytometry analysis of THP-1 cells using anti-HDAC4 antibody (A00971-1). Overlay histogram showing THP-1 cells stained with A00971-1 (Blue line). The cells were blocked with 10% normal goat serum. And then incubated with rabbit anti- HDAC4 Antibody (A00971-1,1μg/1x106 cells) for 30 min at 20°C. DyLight®488 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (BA1127, 5-10μg/1x106 cells) was used as secondary antibody for 30 minutes at 20°C. Isotype control antibody (Green line) was rabbit IgG (1μg/1x106) used under the same conditions. Unlabelled sample (Red line) was also used as a control.
