Description

Ordesekimab (brand name Oscikimab, formerly AMG-714 or PRV-015) is a humanized IgG1-kappa monoclonal antibody that specifically targets interleukin-15 (IL-15), a cytokine critical for the activation, proliferation, and survival of T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. As an IgG1 isotype, it is designed to engage immune effector functions such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). By binding to IL-15, it neutralizes the cytokine and prevents it from signaling through its receptor complex (IL-15R¦Á/IL-2R¦Â¦Ãc), thereby modulating immune responses. It is being developed as an immunomodulatory therapy for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, with clinical studies focusing on celiac disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and other IL-15-driven disorders.
