- Product name
- Purified anti-CD213a1 (IL-13Ra1)
- Antibody type
- Monoclonal
- Antigen
- Extracellular domain of human CD213α1 chain
- Description
- CD213α1 is a 65-70 kD glycosylated protein, widely expressed on many hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic cells. It serves as the receptor for interleukin 13 (IL-13). IL-13 is an immunoregulatory cytokine secreted by activated T-helper type 2 (Th2) cells. It plays important roles in various diseases such as cancer, asthma, and allergy. IL-13 binds to two receptor chains: CD213α1 and CD213α2. CD213α1 can also stimulate IL-4 signaling through activation of the JAK/STAT pathway.

- Experimental details
- DND-39 untransfected (lane 1) or transfected with hCD213α1 (lane 2) cell extracts were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose, and probed with purified monoclonal anti-CD213α1 (clone UU15) antibody. Proteins were visualized using an anti-mouse-IgG secondary conjugated to HRP and chemiluminescence detection.
