- PA1-744 detects cannabinoid receptor 2 (CB2) from human tissues. PA1-744 has been successfully used in Western blot, FACS, immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescence procedures. By Western blot, this antibody detects an ~60 kDa band from human spinal cord homogenate, and a ~40 kda band from RBL2H3 cells, representing the different glycosylated forms of CB2. PA1-744 antigen is a fusion protein containing the first 33 amino acid residues from human CB2.

- Western blot analysis of Cannabinoid Receptor II was performed by loading 25 µg of PC-3 (lane 1) and Jurkat (lane 2) cell lysates onto an SDS polyacrylamide gel. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked at 4ºC overnight. The membrane was probed with a Cannabinoid Receptor II polyclonal antibody (Product # PA1-744) at a dilution of 1:1000 overnight at 4°C, washed in TBST, and probed with an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody for 1 hr at room temperature in the dark. Chemiluminescent detection was performed using Pierce ECL Plus Western Blotting Substrate (Product # 32132). Results show a band at ~40 kDa.
