Description

Vandortuzumab is a humanized IgG1 kappa monoclonal antibody targeting six-transmembrane epithelial antigen of prostate 1 (STEAP1), a cell surface protein highly expressed in prostate cancer and other solid tumors. It binds to STEAP1 to inhibit its metalloreductase activity and downstream signaling, and is often developed as an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) to deliver cytotoxic agents directly to STEAP1-positive cancer cells. It is being investigated for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and other STEAP1-expressing malignancies.
