Experimental details

Detection of Human Phospho-p38 alpha (T180/Y182) by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line untreated (-) or treated (+) with 20 mJ/cm² ultraviolet light (UV) followed by a 30 minute recovery. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human Phospho-p38 alpha (T180/Y182) Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB8691) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band was detected for Phospho-p38 alpha (T180/Y182) at approximately 45 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
