- Monoclonal antibody for RAD51 detection. Host: Rabbit.Size: 100ug/vial. Tested applications: Flow Cytometry, IP, IF, IHC, ICC, WB. Reactive species: Human, Mouse, Rat RAD51 information: Molecular Weight: 36966 MW; Subcellular Localization: Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Cytoplasm, perinuclear region. Mitochondrion matrix. Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, microtubule organizing center, centrosome. Colocalizes with RAD51AP1 and RPA2 to multiple nuclear foci upon induction of DNA damage. DNA damage induces an increase in nuclear levels. Together with FIGNL1, redistributed in discrete nuclear DNA damage-induced foci after ionizing radiation (IR) or camptothecin (CPT) treatment. Accumulated at sites of DNA damage in a SPIDR-dependent manner; Tissue Specificity: Highly expressed in testis and thymus, followed by small intestine, placenta, colon, pancreas and ovary. Weakly expressed in breast.

- Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse kidney, using Rad51 Antibody(M00088-1)RAD51 was detected in paraffin-embedded tissue section. Heat mediated antigen retrieval was performed in citrate buffer (pH6, epitope retrieval solution) for 20 mins. The tissue section was blocked with 10% goat serum. The tissue section was then incubated with 1ug/ml rabbit anti-RAD51 Antibody (M00088-1)overnight at 4?? Biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody and incubated for 30 minutes at 37?? The tissue section was developed using Strepavidin-Biotin-Complex (SABC)(Catalog # SA1022) with DAB as the chromogen.
