Description

Ifabotuzumab is an immunoglobulin G1 kappa (IgG1¦Ê) monoclonal antibody designed for the treatment of solid tumors, particularly those expressing the target receptor. It is engineered to bind with high affinity to Ephrin type-A receptor 3 (EphA3). A key feature of its design is the intentional lack of fucose on its Fc glycans, a modification that significantly enhances its affinity for the activating Fc gamma receptor IIIa (Fc¦ÃRIIIa/CD16a) on natural killer (NK) cells and macrophages.
