- Anti-PPP1R15A polyclonal antibody
- Antibody type
- Polyclonal
- Description
- Protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 15A, also known as, Growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible protein GADD34 or Myeloid differentiation primary response protein MyD116 homolog, and encoded by the gene name(s), PPP1R15A or GADD34, can be triggered as a direct target of activating transcription factor4 (ATF4) under ER stress. PPP1R15A plays a pivotal role in the recovery of cells from shut-down of translation induced by ER stress. It recruits the serine/threonine-protein phosphatase (PP1) to dephosphorylate the translation initiation factor eIF2alpha, thereby reversing the shut-off of protein synthesis initiated by stress-inducible kinases and facilitating recovery of cells from stress.

- Storage
- Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance. Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerol containing solutions to become frozen during storage.
