- Western blot of rat brain stem lysate showing specific immunolabeling of the ~55 kDa TPH phosphorylated at Ser260 (Lane 1).The labeling by Anti-Ser260 PH is specifically blocked by the Ser260 phosphopeptide (Phos-pep) used as antigen. The corresponding non-phosphopeptide (Lane 2) did not block the immunolabeling.

Phosphospecificity is shown in the second lane (P) where immunolabeling is blocked by pre-adsorption with the phosphopeptide used as antigen, but not by the corresponding non-phosphopeptide (NP), shown in the third lane.
