- Samalizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting CD200, an immunoregulatory transmembrane glycoprotein. It binds to CD200, blocking its interaction with the inhibitory receptor CD200R on myeloid cells and T cells. By inhibiting this immunosuppressive pathway, it aims to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. It has been investigated for the treatment of hematologic malignancies such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia and multiple myeloma.
