Description

This product is a mouse monoclonal antibody against SLC4A10, solute carrier family 4 member 10. SLC4A10 is a member of the sodium-coupled bicarbonate transporter (NCBT) family and is involved in the regulation of intracellular pH of neurons, the secretion of bicarbonate ions across the choroid plexus, and the pH of the brain extracellular fluid. The protein may function in either a net efflux or influx pathway depending on the chemical concentration gradients of potassium and chloride. This antibody, applicable in ELISA and specific for human antigens, provides a means to study the functions of SLC4A10 in pH-related cellular processes and its potential role in neurological diseases.
