- PA1-25983 detects Heat Shock Protein 27 (phospho S82) from human samples. PA1-25983 will not react with endogenous mouse Heat Shock Protein 27 protein phosphorylated on S86 (S86 in mouse is in a region identical to that surrounding S82 in human Heat Shock Protein 27) in extracts of NIH3T3 cells treate PA1-25983 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. The PA1-25983 immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to a portion of human Heat Shock Protein 27 containing threonine 232. Store at 4ºC short term. For extended storage, aliquot and store at -20ºC or below. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

- Western blot analysis of Phospho-HSP27 pSer82 using a Phospho-HSP27 pSer82 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA1-25983). Peptide competition shows that only the peptide corresponding to HSP27 (pSer82) blocks antibody signal, thereby demonstrating the specificity of the antibody.
