- Description
- CXCL10, also known as IP-10, is a 8.7 kD chemokine. It belongs to the CXC chemokine family. It is expressed by monocytes, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells in response to IFNγ. It can interact with CXCR3 and plays an important role in immune cell trafficking, particularly of T cells, dendritic cells, and NK cells. In addition, it alters expression of adhesion molecules.

- IFN-γ (1500U/ml)-stimulated (24 hours) human peripheral blood monocytes (in the presence of monensin) were fixed, permeabilized, and then stained with CD14 (clone HCD14) APC and purified CXCL10 (clone J034D6, top) or mouse IgG2a, κ isotype control, followed by anti-mouse IgG2a PE.
