Experimental details

Congo red (A) and purified anti-Transthyretin, aggregated antibody (clone TA5F4) (B) staining of Transtheyretin amyloid deposits in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded heart tissue of a patient with familial amyloidotic polyneuropathy (FAP). Following antigen retrieval using Antigen Retrieval Citra Plus (BioGenex), the tissue was incubated with the primary antibody at 3 µg/mL overnight at 4°C. Horse radish peroxidase conjugated anti-mouse IgG was used as the detection system.
