- Antigen Affinity-purified. Detects CCL23/Ck beta 8-1 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 20% cross-reactivity with recombinant human MPIF-1 is observed. Neutralizes the biological activity of human CCL23/Ck beta 8-1. It will also neutralize the biological activity of recombinant human MPIF-1 at a 10-fold higher Ig concentration.

- Chemotaxis Induced by CCL23 and Neutralization by Human CCL23 Antibody. Recombinant Human CCL23/MPIF-1 (Catalog # 371-MP) chemo-attracts the BaF3 mouse pro-B cell line transfected with human CCR1 in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). The amount of cells that migrated through to the lower chemotaxis chamber was measured by Resazurin (Catalog # AR002). Chemotaxis elicited by Recombinant Human CCL23/MPIF-1 (0.04 µg/mL) is neutral-ized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Goat Anti-Human CCL23/Ck beta 8-1 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF508). The ND50 is typically 0.15-0.75 µg/mL.
