- Description
- Description: The LK2H10 monoclonal antibody recognizes human Chromogranin A. Chromogranin A is a member of the granin family of neuroendocrine secretory proteins and is expressed in endocrine tissues such as the pancreas, pituitary, and hypothalamus. Chromogranin A is the precursor for some peptides like pancreastatin and vasostatin. Chromogranin A may also play a role in early neoplastic progression and is used as an indicator for pancreatic and prostate cancers. Applications Reported: This LK2H10 antibody has been reported for use in western blotting, immunohistochemical staining of formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections, microscopy, and immunohistochemical staining. Applications Tested: This LK2H10 antibody has been tested by immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed paraffin embedded human tissue using low pH antigen retrieval. This can be used at less than or equal to 1:1000. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Purity: Greater than 90%, as determined by SDS-PAGE. Aggregation: Less than 10%, as determined by HPLC. Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
