Experimental details

Cell Il-8 Secretion Induced by LBP and Neutralization by Mouse LBP Antibody. Recombinant Mouse LBP induces IL-8 secretion in the THP-1 human acute monocytic leukemia cell line in the presence of 5 ng/mL LPS in a dose-dependent manner (orange line), as measured by the Human IL-8 Quantikine kit (Catalog # D8000C). Under these conditions, IL-8 secretion elicited by LBP is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Rat Anti-Mouse LBP Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB6635). The ND₅₀ is typically 1-5 μg/mL.
