Human CD62P appears on the surface of activated endothelial cells or platelets and likely is involved with regulating the recruitment of leukocytes to areas of inflammation or infection. Antibody G1 recognizes the protease sensitive lectin epitope of CD62P. Antibody G1 blocks the activated endothelium or platelet-neutrophil interaction.
