- Description
- Description: The B-T21 antibody reacts with the p35 subunit of human interleukin-12 (IL-12). IL-12 is a 70 kDa heterodimeric cytokine composed of two covalently linked chains, p40 and p35, and is secreted primarily by activated B cells. For optimal detection of human IL-12 p70 by ELISA, a combination of purified B-T21 antibody for capture and biotinylated C8.6 antibody for detection is recommended. Applications Reported: The B-T21 antibody has been reported for use as capture antibody in an IL-12 p70 sandwich ELISA. Applications Tested: The B-T21 antibody has been tested as the capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA for analysis of human IL-12 p70 in combination with the biotinylated C8.6 (13-7129) antibody for detection and recombinant human IL-12 p70 (14-8129) as the standard. A suitable range of concentrations of this antibody for ELISA capture is 1 - 4 µg/mL. A standard curve consisting of doubling dilutions of the recombinant standard over the range of 2000 pg/mL - 15 pg/mL should be included in each ELISA plate. Purity: Greater than 90%, as determined by SDS-PAGE. Aggregation: Less than 10%, as determined by HPLC. Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
