- CD179b Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (8H16L35)
- Antibody type
- Monoclonal
- Antigen
- Synthetic peptide
- Description
- This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Cat, Pig, Rat. Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.

- Western blot analysis was performed on whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of JM1 (Lane 1), Daudi (Lane 2), EB2 (Lane 3) and IM-9 (Lane 4). The blot was probed with Anti-CD179b Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (Product # 702901, 1:10,000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A27036, 0.25 µg/mL, 1:4,000 dilution). A 23 kDa corresponding to CD179b was observed in relevant cell lines tested.

- For immunofluorescence analysis, JM1 cells were fixed and permeabilized for detection of endogenous CD179b using Anti-CD179b Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (Product # 702901,1:100 dilution) and labeled with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, Alexa Fluor® 488 conjugate (Product # A27034, 1:2000). Nuclei (blue) were stained using ProLong™ Diamond Antifade Mountant with DAPI (Product # P36962), and Rhodamine Phalloidin (Product # R415, 1:300) was used for cytoskeletal F-actin (red) staining. Panel a-d) clearly demonstrates membrane localization of CD179b in JM1 cells. Panel e-h) shows no specific staining in Raji cells which is CD179b negative, demonstrating specificity. The images were captured at 60X magnification.
