- Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human colon cancer stained for caspase-1 expression (SM7123P) using a DAB chromogen and Hematoxylin counterstain. 9 sections, from different human patients were stained. Differential staining was observed (top right panel). Two of these sections are shown at higher magnifications (arrows and A, B). Only rare staining in A is observed. In contrast, abundant staining is observed in B.
