Western blot was performed using Anti-BMP-7 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-34602) and a ~42 kDa band corresponding to BMP-7 was observed in Mouse Brain, Mouse Cerebellum, Rat Brain and Rat Cerebellum; and was absent in Mouse Lung, Mouse Kidney, Rat Lung and Rat Kidney; along with two uncharacterized bands (*) at ~35 kDa and ~25 kDa across tissues tested. Whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of Mouse Brain (Lane 1), Mouse Cerebellum (Lane 2), Mouse Lung (Lane 3), Mouse Kidney (Lane 4), Rat Brain (Lane 5), Rat Cerebellum (Lane 6), Rat Lung (Lane 7) and Rat Kidney (Lane 8) were electrophoresed using NuPAGE™ 4-12% Bis-Tris Protein Gel (Product # NP0321BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane (Product # LC2001) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001). The blot was probed with the primary antibody (0.8 µg/mL) and detected by chemiluminescence with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A27036, 1:4000 dilution) using the iBright FL 1000 (Product # A32752). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using Novex® ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate Reagent Kit (Product # WP20005).
