- Description
- PA1-720 detects phosphodiesterase 6 alpha (PDE6 alpha) from sheep retinal extract and bovine rod outer segment membranes as well as purified bovine PDE6. PA1-720 has been successfully used in Western blot and immunofluoresence procedures. By Western blot, this antibody detects an ~90 kDa protein representing PDE6 alpha from sheep retinal extract. A higher molecular weight band is sometimes observed using sheep retinal extracts. The PA1-720 immunizing peptide corresponds to amino acid residues 1-16 from human PDE6 alpha. This sequence is completely conserved between human, mouse and bovine and 94% conserved in canine. PA1-720 immunizing peptide (Cat. # PEP-148) is available for use in neutralization and control experiments.
