- Detection of Human Galectin-3 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of COLO 205 human colorectal adenocarcinoma cell line, MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line, and U-118-MG human glioblastoma/astrocytoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.2 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human Galectin-3 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB1154) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF018). A specific band was detected for Galectin-3 at approximately 28 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
