Immunoblot Analysis (Representative lot data): EGF treated human A431 cell lysates were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-phospho-Caldesmon (Ser789), (2 µg/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Lane 1: EGF treated lysate. Lane 2: EGF treated lysate incubated with l phosphatase. Lane 3: EGF treatedlysate after preincubation of antibody with phosphopeptide immunogen. Arrow indicates phosphorylated Caldesmon.
