- Western blot was performed using Anti-BMPR2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-11863) and a 160 kDa band corresponding to Bmpr2 was observed across tissues tested. Tissue extracts (30 µg lysate) of Mouse Brain (Lane 1), Rat Brain (Lane 2), Mouse Kidney (Lane 3), Mouse Placenta (Lane 4), Mouse Liver (Lane 5) and Rat Liver (Lane 6) were electrophoresed using NuPAGE™ 4-12% Bis-Tris Protein Gel (Product # NP0321BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23002) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001). The blot was probed with the primary antibody (1:1000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A27036, 1:20000 dilution) using the iBright™ FL1500 Imaging System (Product # A44115). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using SuperSignal™ West Pico PLUS Chemiluminescent Substrate (Product # 34580). Additional uncharacterized bands were observed between 40-100 kDa.

- Western blot analysis of BMPR2 in human heart lysate. Samples were incubated with BMPR2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-11863) using a dilution of 1:1,000 followed by Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 20 µg per lane. Predicted band size: 115 kDa. Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.
