- Mouse Monoclonal TNF-alpha Antibody
- Antibody type
- Monoclonal
- Description
- Protein A or G purified from ascites. Detects human TNF-alpha in direct ELISAs. In direct ELISAs, approximately 50% cross-reactivity with recombinant rhesus macaque TNF-alpha is observed and no cross-reactivity with recombinant cotton rat, mouse, rat, or porcine TNF-alpha is observed. It shows no cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) APRIL, rhBAFF, rhEDA-A2, rhFas Ligand, rhGITR Ligand, rhLIGHT, rhOX40 Ligand, rhRANK Ligand, rhTNF-beta , rhTRAIL, rhTRANCE, rhTWEAK, or rhVEGI.

- Experimental details
- Cytotoxicity Induced by TNF-alpha and Neutralization by Human TNF-alpha Antibody. Recombinant Human TNF-alpha (Catalog # 210-TA) induces cytotoxicity in the the L-929 mouse fibroblast cell line in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). Cytotoxicity elicited by Recombinant Human TNF-alpha (0.75 ng/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Mouse Anti-Human TNF-alpha Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB210). The ND50 is typically 0.01-0.06 µg/mL in the presence of the metabolic inhibitor actinomycin D (1 µg/mL).
