Coupling of Grb2 to Gab1 mediates hepatocyte growth factor-induced high intensity ERK signal required for inhibition of HepG2 hepatoma cell proliferation.
Sprouty2 binds Grb2 at two different proline-rich regions, and the mechanism of ERK inhibition is independent of this interaction.
Multiple-state reactions between the epidermal growth factor receptor and Grb2 as observed by using single-molecule analysis.

- Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human lung carcinoma tissue reacted with GRB2 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB4939) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry ; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
