Breast cancer anti-estrogen resistance protein 1 (BCAR1), also known as p130cas, Crk-associated substrate p130Cas, Cas scaffolding protein family member 1 is encoded by the BCAR1 gene (also known as CAS, CAS1, CASS1, CRKAS) in human. It is phosphorylated by src family tyrosine kinases and functions as a scaffold protein involved in various cellular events, including migration, survival, transformation, and invasion. BCAR1 has been implicated in induction of cell migration.

Storage

Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance. Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerol containing solutions to become frozen during storage.
